Aggregate Blog Sites
The posts from these sites come from a variety of writers. Most times, they are people in treatment programs sharing their stories of success and advice from their own experiences. Posts from aggregate sites are also published by professionals in a particular area. Blog sites like these monitor and edit each post to ensure there is no spamming or advertising.
The list is in no particular order of significance as each site brings its own value.
Personal Blog Sites
Unlike the previous blog sites, each of these blog pages is individualistic made by one person and published by that person. Some sites may have quest blog posts from others in their recovery community, but for the most part, they will be articles from one person.
The advantage of these types of blogs is that you will undoubtedly connect with one – whether you like their writing style, sense of humor, or can connect personally to their story. The great thing about these particular blog sites is you can follow someone’s story – oftentimes from the moment they begin their recovery – all the way to where they are now.
The writers of these blogs are from all walks of life, some are now doctors, some writers, some mothers; but all in all, they provide an abundance of resources for individuals in recovery.

Recovery blogs are amazing resources to learn, connect, and empower your own recovery!
This list may look extensive at first glance, but thanks to the diminishing stigma around addiction, there’s no shortage of recovery blogs. This is why we thought it would be a good idea to list some of our favorites.
If you happen to like multiple of these blogs, a good resource to aggregate them all into one place is BlogLovin. This site will bring together all of your favorite blogs into one place – pretty cool! No more bouncing around bookmarked tabs 🙂
If you have a blog or know of one that you like, reach out to me at help@coalitionrecovery.com. We’ll review it and possibly add it to this list. Thanks for reading!
