The founder of Coalition Recovery, Alexander Ronzino, talks with ABC to share how our aftercare is revolutionizing addiction treatment.
Aftercare is the care a person receives after they leave treatment. These initiatives are established while people are in treatment. Therefore, by the time they leave, they have everything they need to set themselves up for long-term success.
These types of things include but are not limited to:
👔 Career resources helping people acquire jobs
🏘️ Sober and Recovery resources like sober housing
🏥 Financial resources like health coverage and disability benefits
🎗️ Communal Support like group meetings (AA, Smart Recovery, Al-Anon)
👩⚕️ Ongoing Clinical Care
👩❤️👨 Family Support Education through family therapy sessions
🎓 Educational Support and Growth (Renaissance Program)
The Renaissance Program is Coalition Recovery’s way to help students gain their sobriety and help them not only get back into a university but connect them to resources that help them stay sober while on campus. By continuing to advocate and communicate with universities, we hope to expand our seamless transition from treatment into higher education throughout universities, community colleges, and vocational schools across the U.S.
By helping people find their purpose, we help find their sobriety.
