Farah’s Testimonial
Hi, my name is Farah and I am an alumni at Coalition Recovery.
I am very grateful for this program especially because most of the therapists here and the admissions department have either had friends in recovery or are in recovery themselves.
It’s really great to be able to talk to those people and be completely open and honest and figure out why I am thinking this way and know that I am not alone and they are here every step of the way until I learn to love myself. I finally realized that it is important to be in this program in order to start my life and start my first step into sobriety.
Because of Coalition, I realized that I have a choice and I don’t need to pick up a drink or a drug in order to be happy in life.
Since it’s Cognitive Behavioral Therapy based, I was able to learn my flaws and character defects and find out the reason why I did what I did. I also realized that my life does not need to be destined for me to be a drug addict.
There is a plan for me. I lost a lot of myself while I was in addiction but I am actually able to become the person that I am meant to be and the person that I was before I started everything.
So with that, Coalition Recovery is a great program because not only have they been helping me while I was in this facility, they also have been keeping in contact with me and making sure that I am ok and that if I ever need anything to not ever hesitate to reach out. They always have a hand out there to reach out to me if I am struggling or don’t feel like I can talk to anyone else.
I hope this video helped. I hope that you choose the right path in your life. Remember that you have a choice. You have so much capability and so much confidence and passion in you that you don’t know. Having that start into being sober and learning how to use drugs or alcohol is such an amazing opportunity. This place was able to help me see what I really am capable of. They have shown me my worth and have helped me gain my relationships back.
Thank you Coalition!
