Seeing a loved one in active addiction is difficult. We want to do everything in our power to help get them back to a healthier place but it can be hard to know how to help in the most effective manner; even then they might not want help.
Relapses happen. Hopefully as loved ones we can recognize the signs to prevent them when possible and in the event that they do happen, how to handle them appropriately.
