Coalition Recovery offers a contemporary treatment program servicing people in the New Port Richey area. Our addiction treatment center offers a full continuum of care, including:
By being a part of the Coalition Recovery community, you can be sure you are receiving the latest advancements in addiction medicine through both evidence-based therapies and medication-assisted treatment that have been shown to dramatically improve success rates.
Our therapists at Coalition will stop at nothing to help people struggling with addiction and mental health concerns. The frequency of your sessions and the length of time you spend in therapy will depend on the severity of the issues you are working through. You may choose to focus on one issue or symptom at a time, or you may work on several things all at once. Mental health therapy is not a one-size-fits-all practice. It can be adapted to meet your unique needs and can change over time.
Detoxification is an important first step in addiction recovery. Detox is the process of removing substances from the body safely and gradually. Without a medical detox, people who attempt to quit by themselves rarely make it past a couple of days. Anxiety, withdrawal symptoms, and cravings are extremely uncomfortable and often very dangerous. Some substance withdrawal can even be fatal. We always recommended seeking professional help if you are trying to detox. Inpatient detoxes provide intensive care to continually monitor health vitals, ensuring safety and relative comfort. Under the guidance of our medical staff, individuals can safely and effectively remove the substances that are causing harm. For people whose withdrawal symptoms are unmanageable, we can also provide medications to assist in the process. The process of removing alcohol, opiates, and other drugs usually lasts between five and seven days. The detox process helps people start their treatment clean and healthy so they can focus on their recovery.
Whether you need to detox from alcohol or narcotics, Coalition Recovery’s detox programs can help. Our modern approach to detox encourages lasting health and sobriety. If you’re in need of drug and/or alcohol detox near New Port Richey, Florida, Coalition Recovery is here to help.
Day/Night Treatment is Coalition Recovery’s highest level of care for substance abuse disorder. Participants in this level attend treatment seven hours per day, five days a week (Monday – Friday). Each day consists of multiple therapy sessions including group therapy, education, addiction management, and individual therapy. Our Day/Night Treatment program lasts around 30 days.
During the first couple of days here at our program, a clinical psychologist, licensed mental health counselor, and board-certified addiction psychiatrist will work with you on your personalized program. It is during this time that we are able to offer a proper medical diagnosis, administer medication if needed, and configure a treatment plan. We’ll determine whether underlying trauma, anger issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other mental health conditions are affecting your recovery. We utilize standardized instruments to track progress throughout treatment. Treatment plans are formulated around each person individually and typically revolve around a person’s end goals and initiatives. These goals could include things like housing, employment, relationships, health, and happiness.
For people in our Day/Night program, they have the option to drive in from home every day or live in our sober living residences which provide transportation to-and-from treatment each day.
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is traditionally our mid-level care and traditionally occurs after the completion of the Day/Night program. Where Day/Night treatment is around 35 hours per week, IOP is anywhere from 9-15 hours per week. This stage allows individuals to start to get the feel of their new sobriety in their everyday life. By still attending treatment 3-5 days per week, members of the IOP program can safely and effectively transition back into their job and family life while still obtaining daily clinical support.
When we think about addiction treatment, we often associate it with inpatient or residential care. While residential care is certainly effective, not everyone is able to take an extended leave of absence from their jobs and families to go to rehab. That’s why Coalition Recovery offers drug and alcohol rehab services to people in the New Port Richey area. If you’re looking for outpatient drug rehab near New Port Richey, Florida, it’s likely that Coalition Recovery has the treatment program for you.
The goal of Coalition Recovery is to help restore people’s lives through recovery; but, when looking at the stages of recovery, treatment is only the beginning. Think of a race for a second. Most people participating in the race have to train and practice to succeed and obtain their best chance for success. Recovery like a race and our treatment is its training. While some people are naturally talented and can place without ever training, the majority of us perform better with guidance – especially expert guidance. Our aftercare program includes:
